In 2007, she received a bachelor's in art history at Columbia University. She joined The View in 2017 and was co-hosting the show through 2021. McCain received the show four Daytime Emmy nominations. McCain has also become an Daily Mail contributor after her 3 years on The View. McCain has also written four books, including The Story of My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
