Her childhood was a turbulent one. At the age of two, her mother left her in order to escape an abusive marriage. Pickler had her mother back within her family by the year 1995. She took charge of Pickler. This did not go as planned. Pickler was reunited with her grandparents at twelve years old. They helped the girl into adulthood. Pickler had to take care of her children without parents. The time she had was not enough and that she had to learn how to take care of the family from a very young age. Pickler was on the teams that cheered for both her middle-school and high-school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler is also an accomplished beauty queen.
